Lamb Inn, Bristol, England

The junction of Lawford Street

The Lamb Inn

The Lamb Inn stood on the site from around the 1650's until it was demolished at the turn of the 20th Century.

According to Playfair, the case was "exceptionally well witnessed and reported" thus ensuring that it retains an interest today, long since the building was raised to the ground in 1905.

The activity started on 5th November 1761 and lasted for a period of one year and two weeks. Phenomena included rapping and scratching, the movement of furniture and objects, the landlords daughters dragged from their beds and various injuries inflicted upon them.
